One of the most entertaining and heartfelt days in the church calendar is coming up! The Feast of St. Francis honors the 13th century monk who was reknown for his deep interest, relationship, and caring for animals. It will be observed this year on October 6th, and we will celebrate it by welcoming into the parish hall and up to the altar during the 10am service any dogs, cats, birds, turtles, rabbits, lizards, or other animals that bring delight and comfort. If you would prefer to bring your pet after the formal service is over, we will also do an outdoor blessing of the animals at 11:15am. All are welcome to bring family pets to be blessed at St. Anselm’s Episcopal Church!
