Reverend Will Scott

We are pleased that Reverend Will Scott will be with St. Anselm's through the month of January (and beyond, pending mutual agreement).

Below is his message of greeting to the congregation:

Dear St. Anselm's,

Happy New Year! I am so grateful to be joining you this month as your long-term supply priest.  I very much enjoyed my first visit with you on Sunday, December 3rd. My husband Matt and I  moved to the Bay Area 17 years ago having met in Washington, DC during my last year at  Virginia Theological Seminary.

I have served as Associate Pastor at Grace Cathedral, Vicar at St. Cyprian's, Program Director at  California Interfaith Power & Light, in development and alumni/ae relations at Pacific School of  Religion and most recently as Associate Rector at Christ Church, Alameda. I am a strong  believer in the value of congregational life for people of all ages, and look forward to learning  from each of you how St. Anselm's has made a difference in your journey and wider community.

As this new year begins may we each give our hearts to Christ and to the shared work of  nurturing a community at St. Anselm's that is magnetic, inclusive, and liberating that helps us chart new pathways home.

See you soon!

Peace,

Will
