November Outreach

Foodbankcans

This November we ask that you bring in donations for the Contra Costa Food Bank. Please consider items that are shelf stable. They especially request: beans, rice, canned vegetables, canned tuna, peanut butter, shelf stable milk, cooking oil in plastic bottles, and oatmeal.

Additionally, this holiday season we will be supporting our friends at OTTP -Occupational Therapy Teaching Program by purchasing gifts for their clients. There will be gift information tags in Jackson Hall that you can pick up and take away with you. Then, bring (or ship directly to OTTP) the unwrapped item WITH the tag so they can give it to the correct client. The gifts have been selected by the youth to help support their healing journey. Many of the gifts they request have a therapeutic purpose, helping them express emotions, build confidence, and find calm amid life’s heaviness. Your support creates moments of healing and hope that last well beyond the holidays. We will collect gifts starting November 9, through December 7. If you are purchasing from Amazon and having it delivered, they request that it be delivered by December 1.
