Worship Services

Sunday Worship

Website 39 Of 49The focus of our life together is our worship, and Episcopal worship is rich in symbolism and tradition while maintaining its relevance to this time, place, and culture.

Sunday morning worship is held, both in-person and online, at 10:00 am. The service is typically around one hour in length and includes music. At St. Anselm's, we believe in keeping service fresh and thoughtful, which is why we draw from the rich variety offered in the global communion of Anglican churches for our prayers and readings.

During the holy time between Ash Wednesday and Easter, we will also be holding a 5pm service, in person only.

Worship at St. Anselm’s reflects our belief that there are many ways to worship, pray, express our faith. All services are celebrations of Holy Communion.

In-Person Worship

Per the Diocese of California, in-person worship is allowed under the following conditions:

  • Masks are optional for all in the congregation.
  • The celebrant, deacon and eucharistic ministers wear masks while distributing Communion.
  • Communion wine will be offered in individual serving cups and not a common chalice.
  • Please stay at home if feeling unwell.

Online Worship

Worship is available online via zoom, and attendees online will be able to offer prayers that will be heard by congregants in the church building, bringing us all into communion. Here is the bulletin for this Sunday's Service, for those attending online who wish to follow along. You may use this link to join the service on Zoom.
