I’m Free Program on April 27th
Sentenced to life imprisonment + 60 years in Mississippi’s Parchman Prison, Sheldon Gooch had little hope. Then the prison chaplain, a diminutive Brit named Wendy Hatcher got a hold of him, and his life changed.
Long before he appeared on Oprah, reconciling with two men he had terrorized at gun point, Sheldon found freedom in prison. Miraculously released from Parchman, his calling is now speaking to at-risk youth, and advocating for Restorative Justice and prison reform.
Join us on Tuesday, April 27th via Zoom at 7 p.m. to hear Sheldon’s extraordinary story, as told in his book I’m Free. His is an Easter story, a story of the tomb that continues to be emptied.
